Product Description: Replace a standard duplex receptacle with this 20 Amp, 125 Voltage, 2-Pole, 3-Wire NEMA 5-20R outlet. How to Install an Outlet? 1. Connect the wires per the provided WIRING DIAGRAM. a. For side wire: Remove approximately 4/5" (20mm) of insulation from each circuit conductor. Loop the wires clockwise for 3/4 turn around the terminal screws and tighten firmly with a torque force of 14-16 in-lbf. b. For back wire: Remove approximately 3/5" (15mm) of insulation from each circuit conductor. Insert the straight wires under the clamps next to the appropriate terminal screws and tighten firmly with a torque force of 14-16 in-lbf. 2. Mount the device in a standard wall box using the provided screws and attach the wall plate. 3. Restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse. The installation is now complete.

ATTENTION: To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always turn the power OFF at the service panel before working with the wiring. Do NOT install the outlet in wet locations or where it can get splashed with liquid. If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, consult an electrician.
