The outlet also boasts a 15A, 125VAC, 60Hz rating and is tamper-resistant, with a security mechanism that helps lock the outlet unless a double plug is inserted simultaneously, enhancing safety.

The outlet's automatic protection function ensures that if the output exceeds 3.1 AMP, it will automatically shut off, requiring the user to unplug and reinsert the outlet to resume operation.
